How NAS implemented his Secret Deal with Okowa

Some folks have expressed reservations about my report on the position swap agreement between NAS and the Okowa group.their skeptism on the authenticity of the report was not unexpected as such reactions underscore the fact that stories of Ekwueme’s political shenanigans in Delta North are, in most cases stranger than fiction.

For the benefit of doubt, in this article, I present to you the steps so far taken by NAS to implement his secret agreement with the Okowa group. Of course, what I am presenting to you is already on the public domain, which most of us are very much aware of;

  1. A few hours after the endorsement of Senator Ned Munir Nwoko (SNMN) alongside President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwo for a second term in their respective offices, NAS swings into action. He immediately summoned an emergency meeting of a rebellious gang in the guise of Delta North APC LGA chairmen, whereby he coaxed and induced some to sign his already prepared press release. The press statement singled out the endorsement of distinguished Senator Ned Munir Nwoko for outright condemnation and denunciation.
  2. NAS kicked against a resolution passed through a voice vote by the general house of Delta North APC , numbering eight thousand members and leaders of the party in the district at a meeting properly conveyed by the Senatorial chairman of APC , Ogbueshi Adizue Eluaka, held on June 14th, 2025, at Senator Ned Munir Nwoko’s residence in Idumuje Ugboko.
  3. What gave NAS the temerity audacity and the impetus to defile the established party protocol, to take the laws into his hands, and lead a mob to go against the resolution of APC Delta leadership. He brazenly flouted a party order, an order passed by the general assembly of the Delta North APC senatorial district, which has the state chairman of the party, Elder, Omeni Sobotie in attendance.
  4. In furtherance of his defiance altitude to the established norms of the APC, NAS went to TVC Abuja station to showcase his aversion for the truth, integrity, and decency .
  5. In the video clip of his interview with TVC, he lied when he said that APC Delta North did not endorse SNMN, thereby usurping the authority of the chairman of Delta North APC and attempting to overturn the resolution of the full house.
  6. NAS can not act recklessly unless he has the backing of some powers behind him, which he later confessed in the TVC interview.
  7. In the TVC interview, he said, We supported the endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term because he is a first-timer . We supported the endorsement of Governor Sheriff Oborevwo for a second term because he is a first-timer, But when he came to the endorsement of Senator Ned Munir Nwoko who is also a first-timer, NAS turn logic upside-down, saying, We did not endorse SNMN because we wanted to accommodate the interest of our brothers who recently joined the APC. This part of his statement clearly showed who he was working for and those who were backing him.
  8. NAS desperately wanted to protect and accommodate the interest of members of the crumbled Delta PDP, the Okowa group
  9. The motivation for NAS desperate actions is the position swap agreement he reached with the group.
  10. NAS supported the endorsement of Governor Sheriff Oborevwo for a second term, he did so without accommodating the interest of the founding members of the party, thereby putting a seal on the fate of some party members who are aspiring to be the governor of Delta State.
  11. NAS made mockery and caricature of Senator Ovie Omo Agege, who toiled and sweat to put Delta APC where it is now.
  12. NAS completely ignored all the efforts of Hon Barr Festus Keyamo SAN, the minister of Aviation and Aerospace Management, in building the party and upholding its sanctity and integrity in both Delta State and at the national level.
  13. NAS failed to acknowledge the fact that the tsunami, which generated the wave that shank Delta PDP, was caused by the movement of SNMN into APC
  14. In his warped view, NAS was advocating for the members of the defunct Delta PDP to always be given a chance of first choice in every available elective position in the Delta State.

What has APC benefited from Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration to warrant such preferential treatment?

In summary, NAS should be sanctioned for organizing a rebellious mob against leadership of Dela APC, for usurping the authority of the Chairman of Delta North APC and for bringing shame and public oprobrium to the party.

Norbert Akachukwu Sochukwudima, should also be advised to bury his dead on arrival chairmanship aspiration of APC Delta because, the laws of equity, fairness, and justice reigns in APC unlike the lawless defunct PDP where his sponsors are coming from.

As it stands, Senator Ned Munir Nwoko (Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency) is going back to the Senate in 2027. Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency will retain the Deputy Governor position of Delta State, and Ika Federal Constituency has the position of the Chairman of Delta State Progressive Congress APC which is zoned to Delta North by the leadership of the party in the state.

NAS does not have the authority to upturn the APC order.

UP NEXT! Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has done nothing for Delta APC to merit a second term

Frank Iroroh is
A Chieftain of APC.
Writing with prophetic precision.
