As the Bill for Creation of Anioma State gains national attention, the Deputy Chief of Staff (Legislative and Members’ Affairs) to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Chamberlain Nnamdi Dunkwu, KSC, has extended heartfelt commendation to distinguished Sen. Prince Ned Nwoko, the Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District, for his unwavering leadership and bold legislative push.
With the Public Hearing slated to hold on the 4th and 5th July, 2025, in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Dr. Dunkwu emphasized that history calls, and every citizen (sons and daughters) of Delta North Senatorial District is expected to rise to the occasion.
According to Dr. Dunkwu, “this public hearing isn’t just a formality, rather, it is the opportunity for Delta North citizens to speak, be heard, as well as shape their future. Anioma State is no doubt long overdue”.
Dr. Dunkwu also called on traditional rulers, political leaders, youth groups, professionals, and community associations across Delta North to mobilize and embrace participatory political culture.
He stressed that it is no time for silence, as it is a pivotal moment and opportunity to demand equity, visibility, and accelerated development for the Anioma people. Wrapping up that Anioma isn’t just a name, but a vision that can be collectively attained.
